A transient student is currently enrolled at another college or university and wishes to take courses at Lawson State for a specific semester, transferring those credits back to their home institution.

Apply as a Transient Student →Step-by-Step
Fill out the free online application for general admissions. Select "Transient" as your enrollment type.
Provide a transient letter from your home institution's Registrar or Advisor approving your enrollment at Lawson State for the specific semester.
Submit a copy of your official transcript from your home institution and any other documents listed in your admissions checklist.
Once admitted, contact an advisor to register for the courses approved by your home institution.
